Common questions

How reliable is biometric?

Fingerprint and face recognition are fast and accurate when installed correctly, with multi-factor fallback (tag + PIN) for edge cases. We spec the right tech for the environment - fingerprint works poorly on a dusty construction site; face recognition doesn't love direct sunlight.

Does it still work if internet drops?

Yes - door controllers have local cache so existing credentials keep working during internet outages. Logs sync back when the connection returns.

How does visitor management work?

We can set up pre-registration where you email visitors a QR code they scan at reception, or host staff authorise entry via the app. Audit log captures every visitor.

What happens if someone loses a card or phone?

Revoke it instantly from the admin portal - takes about 30 seconds. Issue a replacement on the spot. The lost card is now useless even if someone finds it.

Can it integrate with our alarm and CCTV?

Yes, that's the whole point of our installs. Alarm disarms when an authorised person unlocks the front door, CCTV auto-captures every door entry, and the audit log ties all three together.
